API Terms of Service

Terms governing programmatic access to the GetCurrentOffer API.

Last updated: March 29, 2026

Acceptance

By accessing or using the GetCurrentOffer API (“API”), you agree to be bound by these API Terms of Service (“API Terms”) in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these API Terms and the general Terms, these API Terms shall prevail for API-related matters.

API Access & Authentication

  • API access requires a valid API key, which you can generate from your account dashboard.
  • API keys are personal, non-transferable, and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your API key.
  • Do not share, publish, or embed your API key in client-side code, public repositories, or any publicly accessible location.
  • We reserve the right to revoke API keys at any time for violations of these terms or suspected abuse.

Rate Limits & Usage Tiers

API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier:

  • Free: 100 API calls per day
  • Pro ($9/month): 10,000 API calls per day
  • Enterprise (Custom): 100,000+ API calls per day

Rate limits reset at midnight UTC each day. Requests exceeding your daily limit will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. Automated systems designed to circumvent rate limits are prohibited.

Permitted Use

You may use the API to:

  • Build applications that display or organize credit card offer data
  • Create personal tools and integrations for your own use
  • Develop commercial products with proper attribution (see below)

Prohibited Use

You may not use the API to:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw API data as a competing service
  • Systematically scrape or bulk-download the entire offers database
  • Circumvent rate limits or authentication mechanisms
  • Use the data for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose
  • Misrepresent the source of the data or remove attribution
  • Store cached API data for longer than 24 hours without refreshing

Attribution

If you display data obtained from the GetCurrentOffer API in a public-facing application, you must include a visible attribution such as: “Powered by GetCurrentOffer” or “Data from getcurrentoffer.com” with a link back to our website.

Intellectual Property

The API, its documentation, and any data returned by the API remain the intellectual property of GetCurrentOffer or the respective card issuers. Your use of the API does not grant you ownership of any data. Offer data displayed via the API remains the property of the respective card issuers.

Service Level & Availability

The API is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:

  • Any specific uptime percentage or availability SLA (unless separately agreed for Enterprise plans)
  • That the API will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of offer data
  • Backward compatibility of API responses across versions

We will make reasonable efforts to notify developers of breaking changes via email or our developer documentation, but we reserve the right to modify, deprecate, or discontinue API endpoints at any time.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your API access at any time for violation of these terms, abuse, excessive load, or at our sole discretion. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the API and delete any cached data.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GetCurrentOffer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the API, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from API usage shall not exceed the amount you paid for API access in the 12 months preceding the claim.
